About KinStation

Pet info for every species we share a home with.

KinStation started with a simple frustration: pet care content on the internet is great if you have a Labrador, thin if you have a rabbit, and basically nonexistent if you have a bearded dragon, an African grey, or a freshwater shrimp tank. The animal-loving internet treats “pet” as code for “dog or cat,” and everyone else is left stitching together forum posts at 1am.

We’re building KinStation for everyone else, and for the dog and cat people too. Common to exotic. Aquatic to flying. Furred, scaled, feathered, and shelled. Each encyclopedia entry is reviewed and bylined by a licensed US veterinarian. Each first-aid page tells you what to do before you reach a vet — and tells you, loudly, when to stop reading and start dialing.

Build dark, then flip the switch

KinStation is a year-zero project. We’re still pre-launch. Rather than ship empty surfaces and hope users forgive us, every feature is built behind a flag and stays dark until the content and reviewer pipelines clear our exit criteria. When a pillar is ready, the flag flips on for the public. No vapor, no lorem ipsum.

That’s why kinstation.com is currently a teaser and the full app lives at kinstation.nexudeit.com. Both will converge over time.

A subsidiary of Nexudeit

KinStation is a pet-tech subsidiary of Nexudeit, a small product studio that builds long-horizon software in places where trust matters. Nexude provides the engineering infrastructure — accounts, identity, deployments — and KinStation focuses on the pet-care problem.

What we’re not

We’re not a vet. We’re not a substitute for a vet. We don’t diagnose. The behavioral AI escalates to a real veterinarian on anything urgent, and we never recommend medication doses. If there’s any doubt, call your vet — that line is in the product on purpose.

Want in?

If you’re a licensed US DVM and want to volunteer as a reviewer, we’d love to hear from you. If you run a clinic or a sitting service, you can get on the directory before launch so your verified listing goes live the day we open. Drop us a note via the contact page.
