Community Rules

KinStation forums are welfare-first and moderated — every post is reviewed before it goes public. Breaking these rules can get a post removed or an account suspended.

1. Be civil. Debate ideas, not people — no harassment, slurs, or personal attacks.
2. Stay on topic. Post in the right sub-forum so threads are easy to find.
3. Search before posting. Check if your question already has an answer.
4. Welfare first. No advice that endangers an animal; flag illegal or unethical care.
5. No spam or covert ads. Vendor/self-promotion only in Marketplace/Vendor forums (premium).
6. Cite sources for medical/health claims. KinStation is educational — not a substitute for a vet. Posts that mention medication, dosing, or a medical condition are automatically flagged with a 'not veterinary advice' notice.
7. No buying/selling/trading outside the Marketplace forum, and follow your local laws (CITES, invasive-species, livestock).
8. Every post is reviewed by a moderator before it goes public. Report anything that breaks the rules.
9. Tank journals (build threads) publish instantly and the same rules apply: stay on-topic, no advertising or covert sales, only post images you have the right to share, and remember journals are hobby logs — not veterinary advice.
