Taiwan Bee - Panda

A variant of Bee shrimp (Caridina cantonensis)

Taiwan Bee - Panda

Representative Bee shrimpphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A Taiwan Bee line showing a clean black-and-white 'panda' pattern, arising from the recessive Taiwan Bee genes layered onto CBS lineage. Crisper, more defined blocks of color than standard CBS.

Keeper tips for this variant

Taiwan Bees are far more parameter-sensitive than CRS/CBS — they need a mature, rock-stable tank at pH ~5.8-6.5 on active soil. Drip-acclimate over 1-2 hours; sudden TDS or pH swings cause failed molts.
