Three-toed box turtle
A variant of Eastern box turtle (Terrapene carolina)
A naturally occurring subspecies (T. c. triunguis) from the south-central US, typically olive-tan with a less boldly patterned shell and usually three toes on each hind foot. Males often show bright orange or red on the head.
