Silver

A variant of King quail (Synoicus chinensis)

Silver

A dilution mutation producing a soft pale grey-silver plumage that washes out the wild barring. One of the most popular and widely kept color forms.

Keeper tips for this variant

Silvers can be hard to color-sex as adults; vent-check or wait for the male's courtship call rather than relying on the faded breast markings.
