Crystal Red grades C to SSS

Representative Crystal red shrimpphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

The full CRS grading ladder by amount and opacity of white: C/B/A grades show thinner, more translucent white with more red, climbing through S, SS, and SSS (Mosura/Crown/Hinomaru patterns) to near-solid opaque white blocks. Grade affects price, not care.

Keeper tips for this variant

Buy mid-grade A/S stock to start, as the heavy-white SS/SSS grades are more inbred and noticeably weaker; hold white density with stable soft water around TDS 100-150 in remineralized RO and cull thin-white or clear offspring.
