Silver Penciled
A variant of Hamburg (Gallus gallus domesticus)

White ground with fine, even black pencilling (concentric cross-bars) on the hen; cocks are largely white with a black tail. The pencilling is delicate and hard to breed cleanly.
Keeper tips for this variant
Cull hard for clean, parallel pencilling — broken or smudged barring is the common fault, so select breeders on feather detail rather than size.
