A variant of Kenyan Sand Boa (Eryx colubrinus)

Wild-type (Orange/Brown)

Representative Kenyan Sand Boaphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

The natural Eryx colubrinus: a burrowing boa in orange-to-tan ground color with dark brown blotches and a pale belly. The hardy baseline of one of the best beginner snakes.

Keeper tips for this variant

Give 8-15 cm of dry aspen or sand to burrow in with a warm spot around 35 C — they spend most of their life buried, so a deep substrate matters more than climbing space.
