Old English Game Bantam

A variant of Old English Game (Gallus gallus domesticus)

Old English Game Bantam

The hugely popular miniature — a compact, round, hard-feathered bantam bred in dozens of colors and one of the most-shown bantams worldwide. Distinct in type from the taller, racier 'carlisle/oxford' large OEG.

Keeper tips for this variant

Even the bantam cocks are scrappy — separate males early, but the hens are hardy, broody, and excellent first-time bantam birds.
