Flying / Performing strains

A variant of Tumbler (Columba livia domestica)

Flying / Performing strains

Representative Tumblerphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

Working strains (e.g. Birmingham Rollers, tipplers, parlor types) bred for aerial performance rather than looks — backward somersaults or endurance flight. Selected purely on flight behavior.

Keeper tips for this variant

Train and exercise in 'kits' and never over-select for deep rolling — birds bred too hard for roll can develop 'rolldowns' (unable to recover) and hit the ground.
