Lava Flow Acanthophyllia (WWC)
A variant of Acanthophyllia (Meat Coral) (Acanthophyllia deshayesiana)

Representative Acanthophyllia (Meat Coral)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A fiery orange-and-red meat coral whose flesh looks like flowing molten lava; WWC has also collected a cooler-toned counterpart sold as 'Arctic Lava Flow.'
📜 Backstory
A WYSIWYG single colony named by World Wide Corals, who have run a 'Lava' naming theme on fiery meat corals (Lava Flow, Arctic Lava Flow, and Lava Lash are all confirmed WWC listings). It is one wild-collected colony with a WWC marketing name, not a cultivated morph line; the lineage is simply a single wild piece.
Keeper tips for this variant
Bottom/sand placement under modest light; warm orange/red tones hold best under a bluer reef spectrum at low intensity. Gentle flow and weekly feeding.
