Hologram Alveopora

A variant of Alveopora (Alveopora catalai)

Hologram Alveopora

Representative Alveoporaphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A metallic Alveopora whose long, fuzzy daisy-like polyps shift with a holographic green-to-gold sheen as the lighting angle changes. The 'Hologram' look gave the whole family its name and spawned Emerald and Rose variants.

📜 Backstory

Sold by World Wide Corals (WWC) as one of their flagship aquacultured Alveopora pieces and the founder of their 'Hologram' line, which also includes Emerald and Rose selections. 'Hologram' is a WWC trade name; whether the original metallic colony was a single wild import or a WWC selection is origin debated, but the line is firmly established through WWC sales.

Keeper tips for this variant

Place low-to-mid under low-to-moderate light (roughly 100-175 PAR) with moderate, indirect flow so the long polyps extend fully without being blasted. Target-feed a fine meaty/SPS food a few times a week.
