Representative Anthelia (Waving Hand Polyps)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A blue-toned color form of Anthelia with the same long, eight-armed feathery polyps that wave in the flow. The bluish cast sets it apart from the more common pink, tan, and brown mats.
📜 Backstory
Blue Anthelia is a long-standing, recognizable trade listing sold as "Waving Hand Coral, Blue" by mainstream retailers such as LiveAquaria, and offered as a blue color form by many shops. It is a wild-derived color variant that is freely propagated once established rather than a named designer line, so its exact reef-of-origin is debated.
Keeper tips for this variant
Mount low under modest light with gentle-to-moderate alternating flow; very intense light can wash out the blue tone, so keep it shaded relative to SPS placements. Like all Anthelia it is hardy and spreads quickly, so give it space.
