Albino

A variant of Argentine black and white tegu (Salvator merianae)

Albino

Representative Argentine black and white teguphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A recessive trait removing melanin, giving a butterscotch-and-white animal with red eyes. Still pricey and uncommon given the species' slow reproduction.

Keeper tips for this variant

Albino tegus are genuinely light-sensitive and prone to UV/heat overexposure issues — provide UVB but with abundant deep shade and gradient so the animal controls its own exposure.
