Axanthic

A variant of Ball python (Python regius)

Axanthic

A recessive morph (several distinct lines) that removes yellow/red pigment, producing a silvery black-white-and-grey snake.

Keeper tips for this variant

Many axanthics 'brown out' somewhat with age — buy from a known line if silver retention matters; the morph itself is perfectly healthy.

This page covers the Axanthic variant. For full husbandry, water params, diet and health —General care: Ball python
