๐ Backstory
Sold as 'Grape Coral,' 'Branching Bubble,' or simply 'Green Bubble Coral' under the species *Plerogyra simplex* by Aqua Imports, Blue Zoo Aquatics, and Quality Marine, and discussed on reef2reef. It is a recognized wild-collected species form that has become noticeably less common in the trade over the years. Origin is natural Indo-Pacific collection, not an aquacultured line.
Keeper tips for this variant
Mount low in the tank with gentle, indirect flow; the smaller bubbles still bruise easily, and like all Plerogyra it does best on weak current with adaptable, low-to-moderate lighting rather than high-flow placement.
