📜 Backstory
Kryptonite is the standard reference name for a fluorescent neon-green candy cane and has been aquacultured for years. It is listed by numerous vendors including Top Shelf Aquatics (topshelfaquatics.com), SaltwaterAquarium.com (SAQ Coral Farm), Reef Systems, and Vivid Aquariums. Because so many farms propagate it, the exact original lineage is debated, but it has become the go-to label for an intensely green Caulastrea.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place on the sandbed or a low rock shelf under low-to-moderate light and gentle flow; spot-feed the polyps at night when feeding tentacles emerge to speed up head splitting.
