WWC Fireworks Clove Polyp
A variant of Clove Polyps (Clavularia viridis)

Representative Clove Polypsphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
One of the most colorful soft corals: bright orange-tipped purple feathery tentacles flaring around a bright green center, giving a literal 'fireworks' burst when fully open.
📜 Backstory
An aquacultured 'designer' clove line propagated and sold by World Wide Corals (WWC) of Orlando, FL, typically offered as small frags of 3-4 polyps and resold by some retailers (e.g., Bulk Reef Supply, HelloReef). The 'fireworks/rainbow' clove look is shared by many visually similar pieces across vendors, so the lineage of any individual frag is often blurred; origin of the broader look is debated.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place on rock or a frag plug under moderate reef lighting (roughly 150-250 PAR) with moderate flow. Cloves color up and extend their feathery polyps best when flow is brisk enough to keep detritus off but not so strong that the polyps stay retracted. Fast-growing, so leave a buffer from neighboring corals.
