Colt Coral (Standard Brown/Tan)
A variant of Colt Coral (Cladiella sp.)

Representative Colt Coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
The everyday wild Colt Coral: a soft, tree-like *Cladiella* with thick, finger-like branches in beige, tan, or chocolate-brown that sway loosely in flow. Polyps give the branch tips a fuzzy, slightly frosted look.
📜 Backstory
This is the baseline trade form of *Cladiella* sold across the hobby and stocked by mainstream suppliers such as Quality Marine, Blue Zoo Aquatics, and LiveAquaria (where it is sold as 'Cauliflower Colt Coral'). It is also widely offered as a maricultured cutting (e.g. Blue Zoo's 'Maricultured Colt Coral'), making it one of the more sustainable softies. There is no designer lineage — it is simply the common wild-collected/maricultured Indo-Pacific colony (*Cladiella* sp., sometimes labeled *Klyxum* sp.).
Keeper tips for this variant
One of the hardiest softies and very beginner-friendly. Place low-to-mid in the tank under moderate-to-bright light and moderate, somewhat random flow — too much direct flow keeps it from inflating fully. It tolerates a wide range of parameters but can grow fast, so give it room from neighbors.
