A line-bred form selected for an almost solid pale powder-blue body with faint red flecking on the fins. One of the most popular aquarium varieties.

Keeper tips for this variant

Heavily line-bred blues tend to come from intensive farms with high iridovirus/bacterial-infection rates, so quarantine for 3-4 weeks and keep water pristine to avoid triggering latent disease.
