A variant of Zebra finch (Taeniopygia guttata)

Representative Zebra finchphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
The natural form: grey body, black tear-stripe, orange cheek patch (males), barred throat, and chestnut flanks with white spots. The hardiest, most prolific zebra finch.
Keeper tips for this variant
Wild-types breed almost too readily; pull nesting material if you don't want constant clutches, as overbreeding quickly drains hens of calcium.
