Albino

A variant of Fischer's Lovebird (Agapornis fischeri)

Albino

Representative Fischer's Lovebirdphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

The combination of the blue and ino genes yields a pure white bird with red eyes and no melanin or psittacin. Requires stacking two mutations, so it is comparatively scarce.

Keeper tips for this variant

Albinos lack all protective pigment, so shield from intense sun/UV glare and keep them out of drafts; because it needs blue + ino together, plan pairings carefully and avoid tight inbreeding that weakens these already-delicate birds.

This page covers the Albino variant. For full husbandry, water params, diet and health —General care: Fischer's Lovebird
