Representative Goniopora (Flowerpot Coral)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A standout strain with deep royal-purple polyp bodies and bright neon-yellow tentacle tips that glow hard under blue reef lighting. Long, flowing polyps with constant motion make it one of the most sought-after flowerpot gonis in the hobby.
📜 Backstory
Sold by World Wide Corals (WWC) as one of the most popular gonis in their lineup (worldwidecorals.com) and re-sold by vendors such as Unique Corals, North Country Corals and others. WWC describes the strain as proven, hardy and resilient, which helped it spread quickly. It is offered as aquacultured frags off a maintained mother colony; the exact original wild-collection origin is not publicly documented.
Keeper tips for this variant
Keep it in lower-to-medium light (PAR ~125-175) with medium alternating flow on a mid-to-lower rockwork ledge; target-feed a fine SPS/coral food several times weekly to keep polyps extended. Give it space, as extended polyps can sting neighbors.
