Kenya Tree (Standard Brown/Tan)
A variant of Kenya tree coral (Capnella sp.)

Representative Kenya tree coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A soft, pulsing arborescent leather coral (Capnella) in muted brown-tan tones with fuzzy polyped branches that resemble a small bare tree. The textbook beginner soft coral.
📜 Backstory
The plain wild form of Capnella, one of the hardiest and most invasive soft corals in the hobby, propagated for decades as a free or near-free beginner coral. It has no designer lineage and commands essentially no price because it sheds frags constantly and can overrun a tank. It is often regarded as a semi-pest for exactly that reason.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place in moderate-to-high flow to keep detritus off and encourage the branches to drop daughter colonies; it thrives in low light and lower-nutrient-tolerant conditions, so almost any spot works.
