Dutch Blue / Aqua

A variant of Peach-faced lovebird (Agapornis roseicollis)

Dutch Blue / Aqua

Representative Peach-faced lovebirdphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A recessive partial-blue mutation (aqua) that mutes psittacin, turning the body blue-green/turquoise and softening the face to pastel salmon rather than true blue.

Keeper tips for this variant

True "whiteface" blue doesn't exist in this species, so a faint peach blush on a Dutch Blue is normal and not a fault; otherwise care is identical to greens.
