A variant of Milk snake (Lampropeltis triangulum)
L. t. triangulum, the North American form with grey-tan ground and reddish-brown saddles rather than bright tricolor banding.
Keeper tips for this variant
Wild-type Easterns are flightier and more secretive than tropical subspecies — provide extra hides and a cooler temperature gradient than Hondurans for them to settle.
