A variant of Molly (Poecilia sphenops)
Males carry a tall, sail-like dorsal fin (genetics from P. latipinna/velifera lines often blended in). The dramatic fin is displayed during courtship.
Keeper tips for this variant
Sailfin males need length to swim and warm (26-28C), well-oxygenated hard water to develop the full dorsal; cramped tanks stunt the fin.
