A natural color form with bold black-and-gold/amber stripes radiating across a rounded shell. One of the most popular algae-eating nerites in the hobby.
Keeper tips for this variant
Excellent algae grazer but needs hard, alkaline water for the shell; supplement calcium and ensure enough biofilm/algae since they can starve in a too-clean tank.
