A variant of Panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis)

The most popular locale, males show fiery red/orange and blue/green bands; named for the Ambilobe region of northern Madagascar.

Color intensity is genetic AND mood-driven — keep males visually isolated from other chameleons so they aren't chronically stressed into dull colors.
