A variant of Red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans)

Leucistic / pied

Representative Red-eared sliderphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A rare condition producing white/patchy white shell and skin while retaining normal dark eyes (unlike albino). Often individual sports rather than an established line.

Keeper tips for this variant

Pale shells make early shell rot and fungal patches very visible, which is an advantage, but quality of these rare animals varies, so verify clean plastron and active feeding before buying at premium prices.
