Yellow Sun Coral

Representative Sun coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A yellow-tissue color form of *Tubastraea* with corallites that often project and arrange more loosely than the orange form, giving the colony a brighter, more golden look when expanded. Sold as 'Tube Coral, Yellow' or 'Sun Coral, Yellow.'

📜 Backstory

A naturally occurring yellow morph of *Tubastraea*, widely available and sold by LiveAquaria as 'Tube Coral, Yellow,' and by SaltwaterFish and Tidal Gardens as the yellow sun coral. Mostly wild-collected, with some aquacultured stock available. It is a recognized color form rather than a single named designer line; lineage of individual colonies is generally undocumented.

Keeper tips for this variant

Keep in low light with gentle-to-moderate flow; target-feed each polyp individually with meaty foods several times a week to fuel its polyp budding and hold its color.
