Radiant, shimmering golden-yellow tentacles with bright metallic tips, named for its 24-karat gold sheen under blue light.
📜 Backstory
A premium gold Euphyllia glabrescens form sold widely under the '24K Gold' name, including aquacultured frags from The Biota Group ('Cultured 24K Gold Torch'), Quality Marine, Seastainable Supply, and Saltwaterfish. Closely related to and sometimes used interchangeably with the Holy Grail gold lineage; the exact founder colony is debated.
Keeper tips for this variant
Keep under moderate, stable lighting and gentle-to-moderate flow; sudden light or flow swings, or rising nutrients, can cause the prized gold to brown out. Gold torches are among the more demanding torch morphs.
