Account succession & legal access
If a KinStation account holder has passed away, is incapacitated, or you are acting under a court order, you can request memorialization, a data export to the estate, deletion, or legal production here.
How we keep this safe
- Every request is manually reviewed and requires certified proof of authority (death certificate, letters testamentary, guardianship order, or court order) plus your government ID.
- There is a 14-day cooling-off period, and high-authority requests get legal-counsel review and a two-person sign-off before any action.
- If the account exists, we notify its own contact email first, so an impersonation attempt can be stopped.
- We will never reveal a password or hand over login access. Outcomes are limited to memorialize, data export to the estate, deletion, or legal hold/production.
- Knowingly false requests may be reported to law enforcement.
See our Terms and Privacy Policy for how we handle account data and legal requests.
