Normal / wild type
A variant of African fat-tailed gecko (Hemitheconyx caudicinctus)

Representative African fat-tailed geckophoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
The base form: tan to chocolate-brown bands over a lighter body, often with a thin white dorsal stripe. A hardy West African terrestrial gecko closely related to the leopard gecko.
Keeper tips for this variant
Unlike leopard geckos these need higher humidity (50-70%) — provide a damp moss hide to prevent stuck sheds and toe constriction.
