Pink Birdsnest
A variant of Birdsnest coral (Seriatopora hystrix)

Representative Birdsnest coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A thin-branched Seriatopora hystrix with luminous solid pink branches and matching pink polyps and pointed growth tips. The classic 'pink birdsnest' look that defines the species in the hobby.
📜 Backstory
A long-standing wild color form of Seriatopora hystrix that ORA aquacultures and sells as 'Pink Birdsnest,' and that Tidal Gardens propagates as 'Pink Bird's Nest Seriatopora.' Because pink hystrix has been farm-raised for many years, no single collector lineage is meaningful; origin is best described as a generic aquacultured wild form.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place in medium-to-high light with moderate-to-strong flow; too much intense light can wash the pink toward tan, so watch coloration and adjust placement. Keep calcium and alkalinity stable.
