Pink Birdsnest (Seriatopora hystrix)
A variant of Birdsnest coral (Seriatopora hystrix)

Representative Birdsnest coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
The classic birdsnest: delicate, needle-tipped pink branches forming an intricate, fragile bush — the most recognizable Seriatopora in the hobby.
📜 Backstory
Pink Seriatopora hystrix is the foundational birdsnest, widely aquacultured for decades because it grows fast and frags readily. Its hardiness relative to acros makes it a standard gateway SPS, and it's correspondingly inexpensive.
Keeper tips for this variant
A great 'starter SPS' — give moderate-to-strong light (PAR 150-250) and moderate flow; the thin tips snap easily, so handle frags by the base.
