Harlequin

A variant of Crested gecko (Correlophus ciliatus)

Harlequin

A line-bred pattern trait with extensive contrasting coloration on the flanks and legs in addition to the dorsal pattern. Polygenic, not a simple Mendelian gene.

Keeper tips for this variant

Pattern can shift with "fired up" vs "fired down" state, so evaluate a harlequin's true contrast at night when it's dark/fired; husbandry is standard crestie care.
