A solid, near-uniform base coloration (tan, buff, olive, or red) with little to no pattern. The simplest, hardiest expression and the foundation of the hobby.

Keeper tips for this variant

One of the best beginner geckos: room-temperature tolerant (around 22-26C), no UVB strictly required on a good CGD diet; just keep humidity 60-80% with nightly misting.
