Lutino

A variant of Eastern rosella (Platycercus eximius)

Lutino

Representative Eastern rosellaphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

A mutation removing melanin so the bird is yellow where it was green/black, retaining the red head, with red eyes. A striking and well-established rosella mutation.

Keeper tips for this variant

Standard red-eye care — keep out of glaring direct sun; don't pair lutino-to-lutino from the same closely related stock, as rosella mutations are prone to size loss from inbreeding.
