📜 Backstory
'Gold' or 'Toxic' Frogspawn is a color grade applied to the most intensely yellow-gold wild pieces, paralleling the gold-hammer/gold-torch trade. There is no single lineage — it is a quality descriptor assigned at import — and the stronger color earns it a premium over standard green frogspawn.
Keeper tips for this variant
Slightly higher PAR than green frogspawn helps drive the gold fluorescence; keep flow gentle and indirect, and give space for its sweepers.
