A bright, fluorescent neon-green colony, typically a green body with green polyps that pops under blue light. The classic 'green poci' of the hobby.
📜 Backstory
A widely traded color form rather than a single branded line, stocked as 'Neon Green Pocillopora' (or 'Neon Green Pocillopora damicornis') by Top Shelf Aquatics (topshelfaquatics.com) and Tidal Gardens (tidalgardens.com), among others. Most hobby Pocillopora is labeled P. damicornis; the bright green form is the most common wild-derived color circulating today, so the precise colony lineage is undocumented.
Keeper tips for this variant
Moderate-to-high flow and bright light hold the neon color; note this fast grower is prone to polyp bailout, so expect stray colonies on nearby rock.
