A variant of Zoanthids (Zoanthus sp.)
Representative Zoanthidsphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A zoa (Zoanthus) with a deep purple-to-maroon outer disc, a contrasting red/orange body, and a shimmering blue-teal metallic center near the mouth.
📜 Backstory
Magicians became a sought-after morph for its unusual purple-and-teal contrast, though it is widely propagated and fairly easy to grow, keeping it accessible. Origin is debated; it spread through the broader US zoa trade.
Keeper tips for this variant
Blue-heavy lighting at moderate PAR makes the teal center and purple disc fluoresce; keep low-to-mid with gentle flow. One of the easier zoas to grow.
