The trade-name catch-all for imported Condylactis sold out of Haiti, typically tan with white-to-pink banded tips and a sometimes-colorful column.

📜 Backstory

'Haitian Anemone' / 'Haitian Reef Anemone' is a long-standing wholesale label for Caribbean *Condylactis* collected and exported through Haiti, which historically supplied a large share of the US market. It denotes geographic origin and supply chain, not a designer morph — these are bulk wild-collected animals, which is why they remain among the cheapest large anemones in the hobby.

Keeper tips for this variant

Quarantine and acclimate slowly — Haitian imports can arrive stressed; place on sand near rock so it can attach its foot in a crevice.
