📜 Backstory
Sold as 'Purple Tip Condy' or 'Purple Tip Haitian' by mainstream vendors such as Blue Zoo Aquatics, Upscale Aquatics (Tropical Fish Company) and Foxy Saltwater Tropicals. It is a wild-collected color form, not an aquacultured designer morph; the tip color can shift with lighting and mood rather than being a fixed lineage. Pink-tip and purple-tip are often used loosely for the same animal.
Keeper tips for this variant
Provide moderate to bright light (T5/LED, mid-tank) to help the purple tips hold color, and feed chunky meaty foods weekly since it depends heavily on feeding, not just photosynthesis. Anchor it where it can tuck its foot, and keep it clear of corals and other anemones.
