Sold as 'Condylactis Anemone: Purple - Atlantic' by SaltwaterFish.com and as 'Condylactis Gigantea Purple Tip' / 'Purple Condy' by Reef-Aquarium-Store.com and Whitlyn Aquatics. This is a wild-collected, more saturated color form of Condylactis gigantea rather than an aquacultured designer line; coloration is variable and can shift in the tank.
Keeper tips for this variant
Anchor it in rockwork with the foot tucked into a crevice; a buried, protected foot reduces wandering and helps the column keep its richer color. Feed weekly and keep it away from corals and other anemones.
