The standard Duncan: brown-to-tan tubular polyps with bright fluorescent green oral discs and centers that glow under blue light.
📜 Backstory
This is the baseline wild-collected *Duncanopsammia axifuga* from Australian and Indo-Pacific waters, and it's the form almost universally sold simply as 'Duncan.' It is heavily aquacultured/fragged in the hobby because it grows and divides readily, but the green coloration is the natural wild phenotype rather than a named designer line.
Keeper tips for this variant
A great beginner LPS — give it low-to-moderate light and gentle flow, and spot-feed meaty foods to encourage rapid branching.
