Orange Tip Elegance
A variant of Elegance coral (Catalaphyllia jardinei)

Representative Elegance coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A green- or tan-based elegance with tentacles tipped in vivid orange — described by Reef Builders as 'the cream of the crop' of tip colors.
📜 Backstory
A wild-collected Australian color form, not an aquacultured line. Reef Builders (2019) singled out orange-tipped colonies as the most prized tip color in the Australian supply chain; its rarity comes from how uncommon true orange tips are in wild imports. Specific vintage pricing varies by importer, so no single vendor price is cited here. Origin is wild Australian collection.
Keeper tips for this variant
Sand-bed placement with gentle indirect flow and moderate lighting; avoid strong flow, which prevents the fleshy polyp from extending and showing the tips. Keep well away from other corals.
