📜 Backstory
Though not a finger-form, *Sinularia dura* — the 'cabbage' or 'lettuce' leather — is one of the most recognizable named Sinularia in the trade. It is a descriptor-based common name with no single mother colony, popular as a hardy, fast-growing soft coral for filling rockwork. (Note: 'cabbage leather' is a *Sinularia* and should not be confused with the separate octocoral genus *Knopia*.)
Keeper tips for this variant
Moderate light and moderate flow; the broad folds can trap detritus, so periodic flow helps. Grows into a large plating mass over time.
