The classic green color form of finger leather, ranging from soft sage to brighter green, in contrast to the more common plain tan colonies. Forms a branching, many-fingered tree.
📜 Backstory
Rather than a single designer line, this is the broadly traded green color morph that vendors such as Tidal Gardens, The Coral Farm and SaltwaterAquarium.com sell as wild-found or shop-grown 'Green Sinularia.' Tidal Gardens notes most Sinularia are tan and that green specimens are prized finds. Specific colony lineage is generally undocumented, so the origin of any given piece is debated; many circulating frags trace to wild green colonies from the Indo-Pacific.
Keeper tips for this variant
Moderate light and moderate-to-strong flow suit it; flow is key for shedding the periodic waxy film these corals cast off. Highly adaptable to lower flow if needed.
