ORA Yellow Polyp Sinularia

A variant of Finger leather coral (Sinularia sp.)

ORA Yellow Polyp Sinularia

Representative Finger leather coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.

Thick, finger-like stalks rise from a wide, stocky base, densely covered in fuzzy yellow polyps that give the colony a soft golden-to-greenish glow. Depending on the lighting spectrum the color shifts from yellow to a light green.

📜 Backstory

A maricultured ORA line grown by ORA in the Marshall Islands rather than wild-collected from reefs, and sold through ORA's dealer network (AlgaeBarn, Bulk Reef Supply, Frags2Fishes, Queen City Corals, SaltwaterAquarium.com). It is one of ORA's flagship named Sinularia finger leathers alongside the Neon Green. Lineage is Indo-Pacific Sinularia sp.

Keeper tips for this variant

Keep it at roughly 50-150 PAR (low to high light is tolerated); brighter light pulls out yellow tones while too much can wash it toward green. Low-to-moderate flow is fine, though stronger flow helps it shed and stay fully extended.
